We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Service Desk Dispatcher for a Full Time position.

Job Summary

The Service Desk Dispatcher is the primary contact responsible for registering computer and telephone problems from employees of the customer agency. Problem details are gathered via phone, email, and walk-ups.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for opening, managing, and tracking trouble tickets in the Service Desk System.

  • Inputs Trouble Tickets for users as received (all IT related issues and requests)

  • Provides resolution, researches new problems, and escalates issues to tier II or tier III teams as needed.

  • Updates statuses in the Service Desk System & keeps the end user informed of closed tickets and their final resolution.

  • Performs basic troubleshooting, remote assistance with software, hardware, and imaging.

  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Associates Degree (preferred)

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory (AD), Office 2010,13 & 16, Windows 7 & 10, Adobe Suites.

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems.

Experience Requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ experience. Entry level experience.

  • Must be comfortable answering a 5 line telephone

  • Effective Communication with peers & customers

  • Customer Service Skills

  • Strong Organizational Skills

  • Attention to detail

Other Information:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. (computer boxes)
