Ketchum Senior Video Producer in Washington, District Of Columbia
Ketchum is looking for a Senior Producer to join the fast-paced, and growing video and digital team in D.C. Reporting directly to the VP, Executive Producer, the Senior Producer will collaborate with internal and external teams to produce high quality video content for digital audiences.
In addition, the Senior Producer will aid in developing and managing aspects of production and delivery, producing original long and short form content as well as internal and external video needs. The Senior Producer will also manage resources, integrate new technologies and explore creative opportunities to enhance the productivity of the video production team.
Work with the SVP & VP to address clients’ objectives and strategies
Oversee and manage relationships with external production resources as needed
Work directly with clients and internal account teams to produce web video, sizzle reels, b-roll, and additional brand content
Integrating new technologies and staying abreast of all new opportunities in motion graphic and video production communities and suggesting new ways to implement these trends/technologies
Lead projects through every phase of production including creative development, pre-production, production/shooting, post-production, finishing/delivery
Collaborate with production team and editorial team on creative development and post-production on projects
Develop scopes of work and budget parameters for projects
Collaborate with design and interactive group to develop multi-platform visual content
Effectively communicate ongoing project status with the SVP, EVP, video team, and account teams/clients
8-10+ years of experience in media production, preferably in an agency setting
Bachelor's degree in video production, communications, and/or journalism or related field required
Knowledge of emerging media trends and digital technologies
Ability to communicate ideas effectively to all stakeholders
Strong talent facing skills
Excellent client facing/interpersonal skills. You will be interacting directly with clients and account teams
Strong knowledge of crew roles and rates, and how to build a “right sized” crew for selected projects
Must be focused on delivering great work, no matter how big or small the project
Must be able to effectively guide a project through the post-production phase
Must be team focused and work well in an edit suite with other editors/designers/production team members
Must be prompt, positive, and responsible. Ability to demand respect from clients, and other key stakeholders within the organization, while maintaining a desire to remain close to the work. Willingness to execute the work, along with manage when needed
Experience designing/editing PR/Ad sizzle/results reels strongly preferred, but not required
