The Senior Manager will lead the Disaster Recovery (DR) program team to develop DR strategy and solutions, manage the implementation of those solutions, and verify functionality.
Expectations and Tasks
Manage a team of technical and program resources
Provide executive level presentations for Disaster Recovery and High Availability related projects
Develop a disaster recovery strategy for all SuccessFactors data centers and products
Work with the SuccessFactors compliance organization to ensure successful internal and external audits
Lead activities related to DR solution builds and DR tests
Evaluate internal and 3rd party technologies
Interact across teams to coordinate efforts of operational and implementation resources
Strategy and plan development
Internal and customer facing communication on disaster recovery capability and strategy
Drive execution to meet implementation deadlines
Interact with multiple technical teams within SAP IT and SuccessFactors
Personality with confidence to motivate and provide clear direction
Experience managing in an international, multiple time zone, culturally diverse team
5 years’ experience with disaster recovery or high availability solutions
Experience managing a global team
Experience with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 preferred
Understanding world class IT standards in High-Tech industry
Education and Qualification /Skills and Competencies

Well-developed analytical skills
Proven track record of success on operational projects & programs
Strong communication skills
Proficient in producing management level power point presentations
Knowledge of network, storage and cloud technologies
Reston, VA preferred but remote work possible for the ideal candidate
