Kforce Security Systems Engineer in Washington, District Of Columbia

Kforce has a client seeking a Lead Security Systems Engineer in Washington, DC.Essential Duties:

  • Determines technical, functional, and performance specifications

  • Conducts System level design, trade off analysis, and risks assessments

  • Analyze/document a Requirements List (Functional and Technical) of each Security Task

  • Evaluate SSO and MDM solutions and provide recommendation

  • Validate existing Architecture/Design and develop an integrated design for MDM, MFA/SSO, and PIV Enhancement

  • Identify and evaluate CIS Benchmarks required for OPIC for the Window 10, Office 2016, and Server 2016

  • Identify dependencies and concept of operations for OPICs Cloud environment as it relates to this activity

  • Assesses storage, memory, and processing requirements needed to meet systems Security requirements

  • Develops fault tolerant, high-availability designs

  • Prepares briefings, studies, and other analysis as required to documents assessments and provide recommendations

  • Provides technical leadership and works closely with other members of the technical team

  • Develop secure, high availability, high performance enterprise applications

  • Experience in Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Implementation

  • Experience with Single Sign-on (SSO) Assessment and Implementation

  • Experience in Mobile Device Management (MDM)

  • Experience in re-engineering of GPO management

  • Experience in CIS benchmarks

  • Experience with PIV enhancement(s)

  • Experience developing architecture and systems engineering documentation, and conducting systems analysis

  • Knowledge and experience with Windows 2016 (Servers), Windows 10 (Desktops), Citrix Xen Desktop

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

  • Ability to lead technical teams, manage risks, and ensure on time delivery
