As a Lead Economics Analyst for MITRE you will provide acquisition support to a variety of programs related to Law Enforcement, National Intelligence, and government Information Systems. You will work on some of the most challenging technical and programmatic issues facing this important national security sponsor located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Key Functions:

- Advise sponsor on the benefits and use of acquisition methods, contracting strategies, and other disciplines in the management and acquisition of IT programs.

- Support efforts involving programmatic and budgetary issues facing our Sponsors.


Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have experience in the following areas:

  • Top Secret Clearance

  • Defining requirements

  • Developing acquisition strategies

  • Writing planning documentation such as acquisition plans, source selection plans, and risk management plans

  • Writing solicitation documentation such as sections of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Statements of Work (SOWs)

  • Serving as advisors during Source Selections

  • Supporting analysis and evaluation of contractor proposals

  • Assessing risks of contractor proposals

  • Assessing and mitigating risk in acquisition programs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS and 8 years related experience.
