The Patient Service Manager plans, coordinates and manages patient/resident food service activities, complying with the standards established by Sibley Memorial Hospital within the Johns Hopkins Health System and all regulatory agencies. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments of the hospital to provide a unified approach to patient / resident care.
Will provide direction for patient meal services at patient care units to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Contributes to organization revenue and operating profit contribution through the implementation of services and creation of opportunities for growth. Utilize the computer system to generate reports for patient meal service, conducts employee meetings and in-services, develops work schedules and assigns job duties, evaluates employees, documents employee attendance, disciplinary actions, counseling sessions, and makes employment recommendations

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1.High School/GED required, BS degree in food services, hospitality preferred.
2.Related field or five years previous management experience in large-scale, high-volume food service operation required.
3.Required to obtain and maintain current Washington DC Food Protection Manager Certificate.
