Position Overview

The Senior Multimedia Specialist works closely with stakeholders to conceive, design, lay out, and coordinate illustrations, graphics, creative artwork for elearning courseware including on-line, broadcast, video, and computer-based interactive courseware which adheres to SCORM and in accordance with client and industry standards. The Multimedia Specialist will also work as part of a team to test elearning products and receive and process requests for multimedia support.

This position is located on-site with the client at Joint-Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, DC.


  • Design and develop creative learning solutions such as templates, animations, graphics, and layouts

  • Develop interpretive themes that convey ideas and information

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and create cost efficient graphic designs through available mediums

  • Create graphic presentations

  • Demonstrate superior oral and written communication skills

  • Act as subject-matter expert in multimedia

  • Be self-directed, highly professional, and collaborative

  • Advise the SMEs and Instructional System Designers on graphic strategies to achieve learning outcomes and objectives

  • May serve as team lead and assist with administrative functions


  • Ten (10) years of experience

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Experience with multimedia software such as Adobe Creative Clod, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop

  • Excellent communication skills


  • Experience with coding a PLUS!

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area

  • Military experience

  • Favorable DoD Polygraph
