Advantage SCI Mid-Level Intelligence Analyst in Washington, District Of Columbia

Position: Mid-Level Intelligence Analyst Report To: Program Manager and Customer Location: Washington, DC Clearance: Current Top Secret/SCI Start Date: ASAP

Advantage SCI, LLC has an immediate opening for a Mid-Level Intelligence Analyst. This individual will be performing CI analytical activities pursuant to the customers’ mission.

Summary of Duties includes, but is not limited to:

  • Develop and orchestrate CI analytical support to the Agency in order to identify and degrade FIE and terrorist threats through intelligence analysis; work in collaboration with the military, CI organizations, intelligence, and law enforcement communities

  • Provide assistance to Government personnel in performing CI analytical activities pursuant to the mission, organization and management, responsibilities and functions, relationships, authorities, and administration of the Agency

  • Provide analytical support involving the integration, evaluation, and interpretation of intelligence information on FIE, terrorism, and criminal threats; from all available data sources and types, to include Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Signal Intelligence (SIGINT), Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), and CI

  • Assist in developing new or modified work methods, teamwork, innovative approaches, and alternative uses of new or available data sources. Innovation, creativity, and useful, timely production are important

  • Provide informational memorandums, quarterly reports, monthly activity reports, IIR evaluations reports, and annual assessment as determined by government lead

  • Perform pattern, trend, and link analysis based on analysis of intelligence reporting, message traffic, other data sources, and collaboration with other intelligence analysts, intelligence collectors, and investigators

  • Preparing threat assessments, information memoranda, briefings, intelligence reports or policy assessments as required for timely and responsive deliver to customers

  • Brief a wide-range of audiences on intelligence assessments, regional environments, or security environment

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret/ SCI clearance

  • US Citizen

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree with 4-6 years’ of intelligence analysis experience, or specialized training and 4-8 years’ of intelligence analysis experience, or equivalent intelligence/academic experience

  • Must be a Credentialed CI Agent

  • Personnel shall have working knowledge of a full-range of concepts, principles, practices, laws, methods, and techniques pertaining to DoD intelligence analysis and production

  • Personnel shall have working knowledge of US Government and DoD national security intelligence authorities and areas of responsibility

  • Personnel shall have familiarity with the DoD intelligence enterprise structure, CI support to Defense or other government departments or agencies, DoD Combatant Commands, and other DoD components

  • Personnel shall have a working knowledge of US Government and DoD CI activities, roles and missions, and governing laws and regulations

  • Apply basic understanding of the various forms of intelligence in order to incorporate this data into intelligence analysis; HUMINT, SIGINT, MASINT, GEOINT, OSINT, and Cyber operations. This does not imply having a capability to conduct collection or manipulate technical data from these disciplines, but the ability to evaluate and put general information into a written product understanding by non-technical readers

  • Familiarity with intelligence tools and applications, to include the Threat Analysis Center (TAC); Cornerstone; Analyst Notebook; PROTON; HUMINT On-Line Tasking and Reporting (HOT-R); Palantir; and others

  • Ability to interact with various levels of people within and outside of the organization to obtain information. Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical and planning skills are required in the planning, development, installation and maintenance of highly complex management information

  • Must be familiar or have previous experience in drafting, reviewing, publishing, and evaluating Intelligence Information Reports (IIR)

  • Formal training to conduct authorized CI investigations, CI security evaluations, military order of battle analysis, analysis of governmental or international operations, or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge of foreign entities, foreign languages and cultures, political structure, economic systems, social structures, and information networks

  • Personnel shall possess strong writing skills, to include experience in preparing threat assessments, information memoranda, briefings, intelligence reports or policy assessments as required for timely and responsive deliver to DoD customers

  • Personnel shall possess strong oral communication skills, to include the ability to brief a wide-range of audiences on intelligence assessments, regional environments, or security environment

  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software programs: Word, Excel, Project, Access, Outlook, and Power Point

  • Personnel must demonstrate a familiarity with, and ability to be effective in, the government customers working environment, diligently mastering and managing priorities, and communicating the preferences and philosophies of the various directorates and their organization and clients

Working Conditions:

  • Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time

  • Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis
