It is comprised of several different practices and disciplines: M&A, Technology Strategy & Architecture, Systems Integration, Information Management, Deloitte Digital, Oracle, and SAP; collaborating and working together to deliver solutions. Coordinating between teams and leveraging each other s skills is M&A IT s defining strength. M&A IT advises and supports the client through the entire lifecycle while driving value in specific aspects of the lifecycle. Work you ll doAs a Senior Manager, you are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways. You will lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics and manage engagement risk. Senior Managers manage day to day interaction with executive clients and sponsors. You will be expected to participate in business development, develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Senior Managers must contribute to practice development & eminence: develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point- of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals. We work closely with our M&A colleagues to position the critical aspects of people, process, and technology to be addressed at each stage of the M&A life cycle. We provide corporate and private equity investors with a broad continuum of knowledge and tools for mergers, divestitures, joint ventures and alliances. We consult to our clients in areas such as M&A strategy, commercial & operational due diligence, integration strategy and execution, divestiture strategy and execution, functional integration and carve outs, and M&A capability development. Senior Manager QualificationsA candidate must meet the minimum experience in one or more of the below:Must have a minimum of 8 years M&A or M&A Service Delivery:A minimum of 8 years consulting and/or industry experience is required.Demonstrate advanced IT knowledge by providing subject matter expertise across critical components of IT (e.g. infrastructure, applications, IT operations, IT finances and expenses, Active Directory, end-user computing, messaging, enterprise architecture, testing).Experience advising on industry-leading solutions enabling complex M&A transactions (e.g. SaaS/IaaS, virtualization, public/private clouds, social media, data management and loss prevention).Experience guiding clients on key concepts and strategies for M&A engagements, including but not limited to stranded cost analyses, aggressive timelines, business continuity during transformation, synergy identification and capture, and system cutovers.Demonstrated experience in business development and concurrently overseeing client deliverables.Expertise in delivering high-quality program outcomes according to the scope, work plan, quality standards and budget.Experience in setting strategic direction for complex analytics such as financial analysis and modeling, operational performance improvement analysis, and technology architecture assessment.Ability to support development of others by delivering key performance feedback, coaching and demonstrating role-model behavior.A Bachelor's Degree is required.Ability to travel 80-100% required.Preferred Requirements:Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.Apply practical experience with communications, culture, and change management.Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.An advanced degree is preferredHow you ll growAt Deloitte, our professional development plan focuses on helping people at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
