Small Business Coalitions and Engagement
Manage and implement grasstops programming for the Small Business Coalitions and Engagement Division.
Coordinate and execute events for Small Business Advocacy Programs; support program participants; recruit and manage a grasstops advocacy network for small business; develop and maintain the small business database; coordinate programming for grasstops advocates in conjunction with other Chamber departments; compose a monthly newsletter and manage calendar of events for advocate participants; track the small business advocacy budget; maintain web pages for the Small Business Advocacy Program; and support the vice president for Small Business Coalitions and Engagement.
Bachelor’s degree; 3-5 years of related experience; an understanding of how to execute and manage grassroots programs; excellent writing, editing, and verbal communications; demonstrated program and project management skills; strong organization; familiarity with event planning; and the ability to interact effectively with senior-level executives. Knowledge of social media outlets preferred.
