Candidate must have strong functional understanding of PeopleSoft Financial Management 9.2 and will be responsible for all aspects of business analysis throughout systems development life cycle. We specifically seek an individual with lead business analyst experience with ESA modules (Projects, Contracts and Billing) and knowledge of core Financials (GL, AP, AR and Expenses).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Working with PeopleSoft ESA/Financials users to understand requirements and design solutions
Configuring PeopleSoft system as project and operational needs dictate
Assessing and developing documentation for application and process requirements, implementation scope and assumptions.
Preparing functional design documents
Preparing test plans and conducting functional testing
Training PeopleSoft Financials users in new functionality
Communicating issues, risks and general concerns to Navigant leadership
Working with project leadership to mitigate project risks and resolve issues
Working collaboratively to determine requirements and assist in strategy and execution plans
Developing and debugging PS Queries as needed for Financials users
Must Have Skills:
Strong understanding of the PeopleSoft functionality for Projects, Contracts, and Billing for use in requirements gathering, application design and configuration
3+ years as a functional lead with experience on a minimum of one of the following modules: PeopleSoft Projects, Contracts, and Billing
PeopleSoft Query experience
Familiarity with key Financials transactional tables
Experience working with multi-currency projects
Knowledge of PeopleSoft Security
Data conversion experience
PeopleSoft AP and Expenses
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with staff through executive level employees
Strong presentation skills
Ability to negotiate
Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
Flexibility and responsiveness in managing multiple projects in sometimes high-pressure situations simultaneously
Work as a member of a team as well as be a self-motivator with ability to work independently
Plan, direct, and coordinate work activities of others
Frequently communicates with clients and coworkers and must be able to share information effectively
Generally works in an office environment
