CTG INFRASTRUCTURE PM in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Number: 18201601 CTG is seeking an Infrastructure PM to assist on the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) pillar of EHRM.

Responsibilities will include:

Ensure that EHRM PEO processes and standards are applied to all assigned product/projects

Support to address changes to product/project scope, schedule or funding, methods to document and analyze proposed changes for presentation to VA Leadership for decision

Create project plans to support EHRM CTO infrastructure project, to include site and enterprise level plans and integration and coordination of that plan with other CTO project plans

Identification and support of risk management, to include using a risk register

Bachelor's Degree - Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline. OR 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.

VA experience

Understanding of VA’s ITOPS organization to include business processes around engineering and HW buying / deployment

Technical background in networking / system administration or similar

Strong oral and written communications


A Project Manager must have experience managing Information Technology related projects.

Must be well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies.

Must have experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress. Must be able to identify and mitigate risks.
