We are looking for a Global Account Manager with international sales experience in the electrical appliance and/or interconnect industry.

What You Will Be Doing

The Sales Manager plays an important role in the development of the Electrical Appliances business. This

position will be based in USA, but frequent travels to the customers, potentially even to Asia and the central sales

office in Belgium, will be required.

  • Acquisition of customers and projects and consequent follow-up of the RFQ process

  • Coordinate communication between internal operations teams and customer for any

sales/delivery/quality issue.

  • Clear communication and follow up of samples, ramp up planning, SOP procedures at project level.

  • Clear communication on MOQs, lead times with internal and external partners.

  • Clear reporting on each RFQ, project, A-project, customer both in oral and written form- Provide sales

forecast on a regular basis.

  • Make and update sales budgets.

  • Contract negotiation, in co-operation with legal departments and management.

  • To take full responsibility for RFQ handling and for the complete administrative follow up of all

commercial actions.

What You Need for this Position

-10+ years of sales experience in an international commodity environment.

  • Experience selling high volume products with technological specifications and/or with selling to electrical appliances industry

  • Strong commercial insight preferably combined with a background in electronics/mechanics or chemistry.

-Understanding of financial KPIs (e.g. working capital) is recommended

  • Excellent negotiation skills.

  • Able to deal with interfaces of diverse cultural backgrounds.

  • Flexible and willing to travel up to 60% of the time.

  • Hands-on.

  • Prior hands on sales team management

  • Bachelors degree in Economics, Industrial Engineer, Business Administration, or any related field.

Master degree is a plus.
