Kforce Enterprise Service Desk Specialist in Washington, District Of Columbia

Kforce is immediately seeking an Enterprise Service Desk Specialist for our leading independent, end-to-end IT services client for a long-term project in Arlington, Virginia (VA). Our client, serves nearly 6,000 private and public-sector customers across 70 countries delivering powerful next-generation IT services and solutions. Essential Duties:

  • Under general supervision, conduct operations in support of the Enterprise Service Desk and existing non-local Service Desks

  • Develop scripts

  • Analyze tailored reports

  • Review and correlate audits

  • Conduct Tier 1 and higher tiered analysis in response to Service Desk escalation

  • Monitor tickets to correlate events and incidents for maintaining overall required levels of performance of Information Technology Services

  • Perform patching of ticket management system and perform Remedy System Administration

  • Certified in accordance with Information Assurance Technician I

  • Certification required in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) version 3 Foundation

  • SecurityPLUS certification (APLUS, Network PLUS, TICSA, SSCP are minimum, but Navy-Marine Corps Account Training uses SecurityPLUS as Minimum)

  • ITILv3 Foundations certification

  • 5-9 years of experience required with at least 4 years of experience using Remedy
