As a Director of Professional Services, Public Sector, you will be responsible for the overall success of an assigned group of experts configuring and deploying solutions for customers. The Director will participate in sales cycles to help gain the confidence of prospects’ business and technical decision makers and key influencers. and support implementation related activities for prospects that will become part of their portfolio. The Director will develop and maintain executive relationships, have overall responsibility for the successful deployment of the SpringCM solution, cultivate and deliver expert services to customer and SI partners, sell additional services into their customer base and ensure they’re getting maximum value from the product. This position will be based remotely in the Washington D.C. metro area and will be an integral part of growing SpringCM’s public sector presence.


  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales Engineers to position/sell SpringCM deployment and post production services

  • Develop and sustain customer executive relationships

  • Work with the sales team to develop/execute on account plans for each customer in their portfolio

  • Serve on and actively participate in customer steering committee meetings

  • Provide direction and support to SpringCM and service partner project teams especially as it relates to scope, budget, timeline, complex configuration and critical deployment issues

  • Act as the escalation point to facilitate and resolve customer and/or project issues

  • Work with customer to drive adoption of the SpringCM solution guiding them in the implementation of new features and products and selling additional services to support their strategy

  • Drive customer self-sufficiency by ensuring their customers understand how to engage with the SpringCM services organization

  • Review and approve SOWs and change requests

  • Engage other service resources as necessary to support account planning and feature adoption strategies

  • Leverage customer relationships as needed for prospect references



  • 10+ years experience successfully deploying large, complex ECM/BPM/Enterprise Cloud solutions at a project and program manager level

  • Familiarity with XPath, XML, and BPM platforms is a big advantage

  • Practical knowledge of and deep relationships in the Salesforce ecosystem is also a big advantage

  • Proven track record positioning/selling professional services

  • Experience successfully working with software sales teams to position/sell additional products

  • Experience working with federal public sector clients

  • Proficiency in sell and implementing alongside SI partners

  • Ability to manage/prioritize multiple customer demands balancing customer satisfaction with revenue and profitability targets

  • Leadership abilities to motivate and manage a matrixed team of individuals at multiple levels within an organization

  • Willingness to ‘roll up one’s sleeves’ and assist wherever needed

  • Team player who will work across the organization and company to continue improving the way we serve our customers

  • Excellent communication, management, negotiation and organization skills
