SUMMARY: The Direct Support Professional is responsible for the safety, welfare, training and supervision of all individuals residing in their assigned work locations for their assigned shift. The Direct Support Professional is a member of the treatment planning team, providing and supporting a structured, consistent and therapeutic environment. Direct Support Professional are responsible for implementing individualized treatment programs for the time they are on duty. In addition, they are responsible for intervening and resolving crisis situations as well as providing emergency CPR and First Aid if required. Further, Direct Support Professional are expected to have, and maintain current and valid driver’s license
