GW Medical Faculty Associates Chief NP/PA, Hospital Based-United Medical Center in Washington, District Of Columbia
We are currently seeking seasoned clinicians to manage the hospital NPs and PAs as assigned making certain they have what they need and do what is required in service of their departments. Will maintain current schedules of all individual services and assure that all services have sufficient personnel available to cover the needs of each service. Clinically, The NP /PA will be credentialed according to the medical staff regulations of GWUH and will be under the supervision of an appropriately credentialed attending physician.
This position is located at the United Medical Center.

Education NP: Master's degree in nursing and completion of an approved course of study as a nurse practitioner. Current ANCC or AANP certification and D.C. Nurse Practitioner licensure required.
PA: Master's degree as physician assistant and completion of an approved course of study as a physician assistant. Current NCCPA certification and D.C. licensure as a Physician Assistant required.
Experience: Some previous leadership experience is recommended. Excellent communication skills required.
Competencies: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner. Must be able to follow and understand instructions, and react favorably in all work situations. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people at various levels within and outside the Medical Faculty Associates (MFA). Must be able to do math calculations and input data into the computer.
