Our consulting practice has a strong reputation and track record in the public and private sectors.Position Requirements: U.S. Security Clearance Required: SecretPosition Description:Work with business users to understand and functionally document reporting requirements.Define visualization best practices.Define user stories and use cases and be able to translate informational needs into usable and actionable analytical content.Define and manage user self service strategy to be able to help users help themselves.Analyze appropriate reporting capability related to solution needs and define appropriate tool to deliver on identified requirements (e.g. Business Objects tool, Design Studio, Lumira, etc.)Write Functional and Technical Design specifications for new BI analytical content.Define test scenarios/models and verify results to ensure BI reporting enhancements are meeting functional requirements.Present conceptual designs by creating Microsoft power point presentations of the design/architecture.Generate content for and conduct BO related functional forums and train process resources on how to use BO tools in their areas.Support solution transition to production and work with business to understand and incorporate changes into their processes.Basic Qualifications:Minimum Undergraduate Degree from an accredited University/College.Preferred 4+ years of experience on one of the ARMY SAP BO systems; preferably GFEBSUnderstanding of how to define and build actionable easy to consume analytical content.Understand Business Intelligence concepts and ability to apply them using tools within SAP BI and HANA.Self-starter with ability to drive tasks to completion.Excellent communication skills at any organizational level to articulate customer needs, changes necessary, how to train end-users, etc.Project management experience with the ability to multi-task.Ability to be self-directed in the completion of individual work assignmentsChange management experience across various areas of businessCustomer serving personality within a fast-paced environmentAlta Via Consulting is an Equal Opportunity Employer and VEVRAA Federal Contractor.
