Job Description Develops formal application Test Plans, Test applications on and off network, contacts vendors to troubleshoot issues uncovered in testing. Expert experience with Litigation Support applications and tools: Concordance, Summation, LAW PreDiscovery, CaseMap, Trial Director, and Sanction. Determines pros and cons of application upgrades. Provides upper tier application support for Help Desk staff Experience in automated litigation support applications is required. Interfaces between systems analysts/programmers and users located in litigation support to ensure that information technology designs meet the needs of the end users within an organization. Documents product/service requirements and develops test procedures to ensure user requests are carried out. Requires general-logic knowledge of system capabilities without necessarily the ability to program. Must demonstrate substantial, hands-on, successful experience in actually doing the work on the systems being used, usually at least three years of such experience Must demonstrate ability to analyze system requirements and translate those requirements into a coherent system design. Requires broad knowledge of the Government's IT environments, including office automation networks, and PC and server based databases and applications.
Work is performed under general direction. Participates in determining objectives of assignments. Plans schedules and arranges activities in accomplishing objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives would normally have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization.
Basic Qualifications Expert experience with Litigation Support applications and tools: Concordance, Summation, LAW PreDiscovery, CaseMap, Trial Director, Sanction
Experience in the use of DOS, Scripting, RoboCopy,
Advanced and independent application and hardware troubleshooting approaches.
