          Functions as Hospitalist serving as a primary acute care physician; assisting the Chairman of the Department of Medicine, Vice President of Medical Affairs, and the Director of Sibley Hospitalists to improve quality of care, resource utilization, and providing coverage for the patients on the Hospitalist Service and urgent problems arising in hospitalized patients; and provide support for Occupational Health/Safety when necessary.

          MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

          Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine, have a DC Medical License, a Federal permit to dispense controlled medications (DEA), a DC controlled Substance License and current to BCLS/ACLS certifications. Credentialed to be on the Medical Staff of Sibley Memorial Hospital.
