          Summit Technologies, Inc. has employment opportunities for a SharePoint Developer/Administrator to work in Washington, DC and Fort Meade, MD. The position requires that you be a U.S. Citizen with a Secret clearance. Duties and Description: Will develop Microsoft SharePoint 2007/2010 web portals and solutions. Must have .NET development experience including ASP.NET 2.0 Development of Web Parts for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 or latest implemented version and Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) 3.0 or latest implemented version. Develop custom web parts for integration into the Information Collaboration Environment (ICE) . Ensure that web parts or changes/updates to web parts are fully tested prior to moving web parts to the production environment. Develop SharePoint site templates. Manage all aspects of MOSS 2007, or latest version. Management responsibilities include: Access controls tracking, recording/reporting permission levels, controlling site permissions and having overall system oversight. Provide systems security oversight. provide implementation and maintenance of any new or existing ICE Portal Modules. Must have strong CSS, master page, HTML, JavaScript experience. The candidate must possess basic skills administrating a Microsoft SharePoint 2007/2010 site. Performs complex SharePoint 2007/2010 design, system analysis and programming activities on application software to ensure that company technology needs are met. Performs complex product design, system analysis and programming activities on application software to ensure that company technology needs are met. Performs design, implementation and maintenance of complex multiple product modules/subsystems or on lower level issues of multiple products to ensure proper functioning of products. Participates in product design meeting to ensure that design concepts are transferred into application development successfully. Experience with SQL Server. Requirements: A Bachelors degree and at least 8 years experience needed to perform job. Equivalent work experience in place of degree is acceptable. Must have DoD Secret clearance Must have strong SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio development background. Design skills should include the ability to customize site themes and to control standardization of all sites contained within the root site. Designing, developing and implementing custom SharePoint applications (e.g., workflows) Will be required to pass a thorough background investigation, including possibly a credit check and drug screening.
