          Providence Hospital QA/QC PACS Analyst in Washington District Of Columbia United States

          POSITION SUMMARY:Provide support to the PACS Administrator on specific aspects of the (PACS) Picture Archiving and Communication System, Nuance, Powerscribe/Dictaphone, and the (RIS) Radiology Information System. Performs numerous QA functions within the department and develops reporting tools for the dissemination of quality data. The incumbent will work under the direction of the Director of Radiology as well as the PACS administrator.

          MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

          A. Education: Required – Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Radiography

          B. Experience: Desired - Two years of PACS experience related experience.

          C. Knowledge/Skills: Required - Broad knowledge of PACS application.

          Desired - Knowledge of radiology terminology and operations.

          D. License/Registration/Certification: ARRT registration
