Description
Anthelio is currently looking for a Project Manager to work onsite at our Washington DC client site. In this role, you will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Essential Functions:
* Analyzes systems and processes for operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness
* Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
* Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel
* Confers with project staff to outline workplan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
* Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
* Project documentation (ie. Scope and business requirement gathering and documentation, status reports, issue logs, risk identification and mitigation, development of project schedules/plans
* Prepares project reports for management, client, or others
* Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
* Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business or seven years experience with at least five years experience in a project management position
· Excellent analytical skills to discuss problems, analyze solutions/options, evaluate and enable improved processes
· Superior organization and planning skills to prioritize work flow and respond to conflicting deadlines
· Excellent communication skills on all levels
· Leadership skills such as coaching, and conflict resolutions to aide in the development of personnel
